Rosemary Anderson

Rosemary grew up in Broome, WA.  She moved to the Gladstone region in 2002.

 

She started creating props for the local drama group for school assemblies when she was living and working in Nhulunbuy (NT), and this is where her journey as an artist started.


She joined the Flying Arts after moving to Biloela and it grew into sculpture and painting from there.

Rosemary has conducted workshops all over Western Queensland, Bundaberg Regional Gallery, and Gladstone Regional Gallery.

 

She won numerous awards from competitions like the Martin Hanson Awards, Brigalow Arts Festival, 1770 Arts Festival among others.

 

Her work has been acquired by the Rockhampton, Gladstone and Bundaberg Regional Galleries.
