Giant clams are crucial to the Southern Great Barrier Reef as they help maintain water quality hrough filter-feeding.

 

This bench will serve as a reminder to keep our waterways clean as this will help protect this vulnerable species.


The Giant Clam can grow over a meter in length and weigh up to 200 kilograms

The  bench is made from recycled plastic by Replas - Recycled Plastic Products and aims to minimise the amount of plastics ending up in landfill & in our precious waterways​​
